Hiawassee, GA - USA BUSINESS NAME Keep it Simply Sassy Sassy Pants Dance and Fitness I help match people to the makeup and skin care that suits them best so they can feel confident on and off the stage. I also design unique, custom crowns and headdresses for dancers and cosplayers. BIO
I'm a small town girl, originally from Massachusetts, who moved to an even smaller town in the Mountains of North Georgia. I had no idea back then the opportunities that would open up for me. I never would have believed it of you told me. Though I couldn't take dance classes as a child, no matter how much I begged, as I grew I took every chance I could to dance. Swing, Latin, Polka, Square dancing, Ballroom, I tried them all! But nothing spoke to me the way Bellydancing has. I've been primarily focusing on fusion technique and Datura style, but I still practice classic Egyptian styles regularly. I started teaching a little over a year ago. I'm very passionate about sharing my love for dance. I also am a certified fitness coach. I have an innate need to express myself creativily and it doesn't stop with dance. I am working on my makeup artist certification and love sharing makeup tips on my beauty page Keep It Simply Sassy. I have also taken jewelry making classes and still dabble in that, though lately I've been making crowns and headdresses for dancers and cosplayers. Music has always been a passion as well and my husband and I (17 years married) perform together occasionally and have written many songs together. I speak fluent Spanish and have a knack for languages though I am dislexic and struggle with anything number related. BACKGROUND AND INTERESTS

I speak fluent Spanish and have a knack for languages though I am dislexic and struggle with anything number related. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PART OF THE SHIMMY MOB COMMUNITY AND WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO JOIN?
I joined Shimmy Mob in 2018 when my dance teacher started a team. It sounded fun and was for a good cause so why not?! This is my 3rd year as a team leader in my community. It's become much more than just performing. We love connecting with the community and sharing our love of dance while raising awareness of domestic violence. |
"My favourite thing about being part of Shimmy Mob is the community and the opportunity to connect with dancers worldwide."
